 I have amended the RiceeeyTweak script to make it kernel independent.
This will now compile and install correctly on any running kernel version.
After every kernel update please delete your temporary Eee install directory and start the method from the beginning using this latest script.

This script works very nicely. Thank you for your work.
Would you consider having your script modify the /boot/grub/menu.lst file to add "clocksource=hpet"?

Hi again. Your script does not seem to work with the latest kernel version. It worked with the -16 and -17 versions, but when I tried installing the -18 kernel, your script generated errors (near the end). If you want, I can run it on the new kernel again, but it won't be until tomorrow at the earliest.
